Morocco Visa Requirements
Preparing your documents is the most important step in the Morocco eVisa application process. This guide explains every requirement clearly, so you can apply with confidence and avoid delays. The goal is not only to help you understand what to submit, but also why each document is needed.
The Morocco eVisa is available for short stays. Your travel purpose will determine whether you apply for the Tourist eVisa or the Business eVisa.
Documents Required for All Applicants
These documents are required regardless of nationality and form the base of every Morocco eVisa application.
1. Passport Bio Page
Your passport must:
- Be valid for at least 6 months from the date you arrive in Morocco
- Show your full name, date of birth, passport number, and issuing authority clearly
Use a clear, full-page scan with no shadows or reflections.
2. Applicant’s Photo
The photo must:
- Be taken within the last 6 months
- Be in color
- Have a plain white or off-white background
- Show your whole face, facing forward, with a natural expression
Avoid scanned printed photos or heavily edited images.
Additional Supporting Documents (Only Required for Certain Nationalities)
Some nationalities must provide ONE of the following documents to confirm eligibility:

Option A — Residence Permit
A residence permit/card valid for at least 180 days from the date of application, issued by one of the following:
All Schengen Area Countries, Ireland, United States, Australia, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Japan, and New Zealand.
Option B — Multiple-Entry Sticker Visa
A non-electronic (physical) multiple-entry visa valid for at least 90 days from the date of application, issued by one of the following:
All Schengen Area Countries, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, United Kingdom and United States

1. Which document should I upload?
You need to upload only ONE: either a Residence Permit or a Multiple-Entry Visa. Do not upload both.
2. What if I have both documents?
Upload the one that is clear, valid, and easiest for you. Only one is required.
3. What if my document is in another language?
It is accepted as long as your personal details are readable.
UK Supporting Document Policy - Morocco eVisa
To ensure your Morocco eVisa application is processed without delay, please review the supporting document requirements for the UK below.
Mandatory Requirement
- The UK Immigration Status Share Code document is required only when applying with an old UK Residence Permit (BRP).
- Your UK Immigration Status will be verified online using the Share Code, and the Immigration Status must be valid for at least 180 days from the date of submission.
Required Documents
Upload one of the following:
- Old UK Residence Permit (BRP) - front and back pages with Share Code Document
OR - Valid UK Visa - the Share Code is not required
Not Accepted
- UK ETA
- Expired UK Visa, even if a Share Code is provided (valid or invalid).
- Expired residence permits without a valid Share Code / Immigration Status
- Pre-settled status (limited leave to remain) shown in UK Immigration Status
- Immigration Status valid for less than 180 days
Important Notice
Applications submitted with missing, incorrect, or invalid documents will be rejected, and the eVisa fee is strictly non-refundable.
Additional Requirement for Morocco eTA Applicants
Latest 3-Month Bank Statements: All Morocco eTA applicants must upload their most recent 3-month bank statements. The bank statements must:
- A healthy available balance
- Continuous financial transactions (salary, transfers, purchases, etc.)
- Official bank-issued PDF (not mobile screenshots)
- Your name and account details clearly visible
Minimum Funds Required: You must have at least €70 EUR per day of your planned stay in Morocco.
Note: This requirement does NOT apply to Morocco eVisa applicants.
Additional Requirement for Business eVisa Applicants
If you are applying for the Business eVisa, include one document confirming the purpose of your visit, such as:
- An invitation letter from a company in Morocco
- A meeting confirmation
- A document showing business cooperation or partnership
The document should clearly show:
- Your name
- The organization’s name
- Contact details
- The purpose of the visit
1. Who should issue the invitation letter or meeting confirmation?
It must be issued by a Moroccan company or organization you are visiting.
2. Does the document need to be on company letterhead?
Yes. Business documents should ideally be on official letterhead, signed and stamped.
3. Can I submit an email screenshot instead of a letter?
No. Email screenshots are not accepted.
4. I am applying for a Tourist eVisa. Do I need this?
No. Tourist eVisa applicants do not need to upload any business documents.
