Dear Consular Officer, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to kindly inquire about the status of my Morocco visa application, which was submitted to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Tokyo and received on 16 July 2026 via EMS EG025182009TW. My family and I have a planned cruise itinerary that includes a scheduled port of call in Tangier, Morocco, and we are currently awaiting the outcome of our visa application. We recently learned of the suspension of visa issuance for Taiwanese passport holders on 20 of July and would be grateful if you could advise whether this policy affects applications that were submitted before the announcement. Could you please confirm: Whether our visa application is still being processed; Whether any additional documents or information are required from us; and If processing cannot proceed, whether the Embassy can provide any official guidance or documentation regarding passengers who remain on board their cruise ship during the port call in Morocco without disembarking. We would greatly appreciate any update you can provide, as it will help us make the necessary travel arrangements and communicate with the cruise line regarding our eligibility to board and continue our itinerary. Thank you very much for your time and assistance. We look forward to your response and remain at your disposal should further information be required. Kind regards, Wendy Y. Dear Consular Officer, I hope this message finds you well. I am a Taiwanese citizen holding a Taiwan passport. We recently learned that Morocco has suspended visa issuance for Taiwanese passport holders. However, my family and I have already planned and booked a cruise itinerary that includes a scheduled port of call in Tangier, Morocco. We fully understand and respect Morocco's current visa policy. Should visas no longer be available to Taiwanese passport holders, we are prepared to remain on board the cruise ship during its stay in Tangier and not enter Moroccan territory. In these circumstances, we would like to inquire whether the Embassy could provide any official confirmation, letter, or other supporting documentation stating that Taiwanese passengers who remain on board the vessel are permitted to continue their cruise itinerary without disembarking in Morocco. Such documentation would be extremely helpful in demonstrating our compliance with Moroccan regulations and may assist us in confirming our eligibility to board the cruise ship at the beginning of our journey. We would greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide regarding this matter, including whether any specific procedures or documentation may be required. Thank you for your time and assistance. We look forward to your response. Kind regards, Wendy (Yu-Wen) Liu Primary: 8**********2 Secondary: 1*********5 yw********@om
